The Beawar district comprises of the 3 Agro climatic Zone-1. Zone II B Transitional Plain of Luni Basin, 2. Zone III A Semi-Arid Eastern Plain, 3. Zone IV A Sub-Humid Southern & Plain Aravalli Hills. The total geographical area of the Beawar district is 442956 ha. and Net sown area is 207437 ha. Net irrigated area is 8,841 ha. Average annual rainfall of the district is 1248.6 mm. The soil is sandy loam to loamy Sand and source of irrigation is tube well & open well. Major crops in Kharif is Green gram (60169 ha), Sorghum (40992 ha), Pearl millet (24238 ha), Cluster bean (16167 ha), Maize (12418 ha), Cotton (7222 ha.), henna (3119 ha.), Urad bean (2066 ha.), Groundnut (1000 ha.) and Castor (96 ha.) etc. In Rabi is Chickpea (15631 ha), Wheat (14151 ha), Rapeseed & Mustard (7780 ha) Barley (7584 ha) & Taramira (6444 ha), Cumin (3158 ha.), Pea (219 ha.), Onion (128 ha.) etc. crops are grown. Animal population the total Cattles – 193670 Lakh, Buffaloes – 184172 Lakh, Goat – 482129 Lakh, Sheep-238236 Lakh in the district.
